When you submit it to Apple, I want to be a beta tester. You should do that sooner than later, so you have multiple testers (I think submitting it is the only way to deploy it to multiple iPhones/iPods for testing)

Nice! That would be a fun app to put together. I bought my first iPhone book the other day. I'm pathetically trying to learn Objective-C and Cocoa for OS X, but also iPhone app development. I have so many ideas for apps, but I don't know anyone who can work on them with me -- so I'm taking a stab at it myself.

Glad you feel strongly enough about this to blog about it, Chad. This is great feedback to hear, and I'll definitely chat about it with the team.

You're definitely correct in that there are a huge number of us who work in the web industry (and who visit the SitePoint Forums) who are required to be "jacks (or jills) of all trade". I'd consider myself one of them, actually.

My gut feel is that if you feel like you belong to more than one of the personas that we identified, then you're actually going to *better* represented than someone who only identifies with one. For example, we might decide to build some amazing new functionality into sitepoint.com that helps freelancers, and then next we tackle something purely for the server-side developers, and then finally we make some changes to help out the front-end guys ... anyone who identifies with *all* of these groups is going to benefit from every one of these projects.

So the fact that we consider you to be wearing multiple hats doesn't mean we're ignoring you or denying your existence. It should still mean that you're represented when it comes to design decisions made about sitepoint.com. But that's just my opinion, and I'll chat some more about this with the rest of the team.

Thanks again for taking the quiz (and for blogging about it).
