Kool-Aid

I’m really trying hard not to drink the kool-aid as some would say, but I have to admit: I’m really digging the podcasts from Mark Driscoll, and especially loving the “Does Satan Exist” debate on ABC News.

Most amazing, the question posed by a visitor towards the end of the debate:

(In asking Deepak Chopra and Bishop Pearson): “You said earlier that belief is a cover-up for insecurity. Do you believe that?” “Yes” (in unison they reply). “Thank you.” (and the gentleman walks away).

Watch the section “God and Satan: They define each other” to see the video.

Totally amazing wit, and sharp as hell!

World record amount of spam

How many spam messages in a users inbox does one need to get a world record?
How about over 37,000?
That’s what I’m dealing with right now.
One of my clients has an account with 37,618 messages, all spam.
I’ve been running filters, searches and sorts and have reduced the number to 21,000 and change.

Testing out Windows 7(rc) and Windows Live Writer

I’m gonna keep this post short, as I’m still at work and trying to hammer out some paperwork.

While here, I finished the installation of Windows 7(rc) and have started to install the applications I use on a regular basis (Visio, Office, etc).

Hopefully this new version will fix some minor user issues from the past beta (although, Live Messenger did come with an authentication issue that had to be solved by adjusting the ‘hosts’ file).

I will say this, the preview tool built into live writer looks promising.
