My tattooist in Florida, Jen, gave me this tattoo. It looks dramatically different now (even one day after it changed).

The tattoo took a couple hours to do - and once done, I was amazed at how brilliant the colors were. The photo doesn’t do it justice (a shitty web-cam photo).

The next day, I went to a show and an awful woman kept grabbing my wrist (she was excited her son was on stage singing). Blood and ink ran down my shirt as I held my arm away from her.

Now, the tattoo is faded and nothing to write home about - short of the fact that the matching lotus on my other wrist was done by hand in order to match in shape, size, and detail.

Jen is an amazing tattooist, and I miss her.
