68.61% Bounce Rate
I’m not sure I really like that, but it certainly is better than 100% (That’s what I was getting a few weeks back over a couple short posts I made – very random stuff).
I’ve also noticed that 17% of my traffic from searches is coming from the keyword Chantix. Not bad at all.
Too bad I’m not on the payroll for Pfizer.
Safari on XP/Vista: Why?
Jun 11th

So today Apple released a new beta: Safari for XP/Vista.
If you’re not aware (or a Mac person), Safari is the default browser loaded on OSX Mac computers.
So I had to ask myself two questions:
- How fast could I get my hands on the beta
- Why does Apple feel the need to load Safari on Windows PCs?
- Would anyone really care about my review of Safari for PC?
Well, I only have an answer for #1 and lots of speculation on #2. #3 will have to wait until tomorrow (at least) as I’m just now getting into the beta (which means the answer to #1 was ‘right damn now’).
So far, no real complaints. I like having my form fields and submit buttons styled the way I scripted them (the default Safari/Apple styling leaves little to be desired). Beyond that, I haven’t seen any errors, any problems, and no real reason to use Safari over Firefox. From the Apple Web site, the comparison is obviously pushed towards IE V Safari, but anyone in their right mind would have already ditched IE for Firefox for daily browsing anyway – so why Safari? Of course, I’ll be testing with Safari just to see how my internal projects function, but I highly doubt my employer will support the browser.

I’ve found my rage, I just haven’t figured out what to do with it yet – haven’t figured out how to focus it yet.
